Bobby and I have made it known for the past year that we must sell our entire breeding herd of Miniature Donkeys due to Bobby’s continued health issues. This herd was well know and desired due to their being small and compact, having excellent conformation and gentle, sweet temperaments. The herd sires G A Lonestar Houston, Lewis Mill’s Lil Rooster and Lewis Mill’s Buttons (formerly Painted Toffee) are excellent at stamping those traits into their foals. After much pray asking God to please keep this loved herd together. A family entered our life and have become dear friends to us. This family purchased the entire herd and they are still intact , well cared for and loved. Even though I am happy just a little part of my heart traveled with this herd as they pulled off of Lewis Mill soil bound for their new home in Sturgis, MI I will continue to be available to assist anyone who knows what they desire; but, they can not located the right miniature donkey or an excellent sire to bred your jennet. Although our first love of animals was our Maltese, next came our goats and while loving, breeding and selling goats, we discovered mini donks. We immediately fell head over pocketbook in love. Our goal is to enjoy each and every phase of donkey ownership. We want all of our herd to be the best: as well as gentle, loving and of course cute!
